Story of Teju

Teju is a member of a youth club with RSKS India. Due to COVID-19, Teju’s father was unable to work and generate income, leaving their family food insecure. Schools were closed and Teju said he felt that “Education was getting far away from slowly, slowly, because I had books, but there was no one to teach.” He also began to question his future: “Now, you are unable to think about our future. Or how can we have a better future.” Millions of students like Teju, have had their education disrupted due to COVID-19. Many will never return. Now more than ever, adolescent girls and boys need to be supported to return to school.
